Dear Malcolm,

Yes, it does sends notifications through Email (By Default), SMS and Whatsapp. You need to have an access to API from some provider to send SMS and Whatsapp notifications.

You can go through the documentation to understand how to configure your SMTP, Whatsapp and SMS settings.
